THE SECOND LESSON WITH RÓISÍN

 Today, we enjoyed a new lesson with Róisín. 

The first activity was about one of Róisín's favourite pop music band ONE DIRECTION.  They listened to and completed some of the words of the song History. 

HISTORY - One Direction

In the second activity, students were speaking and practising vocabulary and grammatical structures about their 3 favourite free-time activities. 

It was a perfect activity to speak interact with the other classmates.

LEARNING WITH RÓISÍN, THE LANGUAGE ASSISTANT

 Welcome to Gloria Fuertes school, Róisín! ☺

Today we met our Language Assistant who comes from Ireland. 

Students had the opportunity to learnt about 🇮🇪Ireland🇮🇪 (geographical and cultural features):

• Famous landmarks: Cliffs of Moher and Giant's Causeway. 

• Sports like hurling and Gaelic football. 

• Irish singer, Niall Horan, from One Direction band. 

• Irish dancing. 

• Enniscorthy (Wexford) in the Republic of Ireland where she is from. 
• St Patrick's day. 

 ☺ Students practised their English language by asking and answering lots of questions to her. 😄
