ABOUT NUMBERS

LARGE NUMBERS

In English, large numbers are written with commas, not points.

Read the numbers between commas.

For example,

DECIMALS

1) Read the number before the point,
2) Then the point,
3) Finally, the numbers after the point, one by one. If the number is repeated, we  say "recurring".

DESCRIBING PICTURES WITH WINDOW SWAP

Imagine you could travel anywhere in the world: UK, USA, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, RUSSIA, AFRICA, JAPAN...

OPEN THE WINDOW and describe WHAT YOU SEE:

The different views from the window:  a city or a village, a landscape from a forest, or a beach or a mountain...

The weather: if it's sunny, rainy, snowy...

The season you can see or you think it is: winter, autumn, spring or summer

Things you see such as animals, objects, people, means of transport...

What are they doing? Running, eating, driving...

THE SECOND LESSON WITH R脫IS脥N

The first activity was about one of R贸is铆n's favourite pop music band ONE DIRECTION.  They listened to and completed some of the words of the song History.

In the second activity, students were speaking and practising vocabulary and grammatical structures about their 3 favourite free-time activities.

It was a perfect activity to speak interact with the other classmates.
